Competencies

To maximize your chance of successfully completing the tasks described in this document, you should:

• Be familiar with the power monitoring software products.
• Have some experience running scripts in SQL Server Management Studio, and attaching, detaching, and restoring SQL databases.
• Be familiar with the Windows Operating System.
• Have some experience editing the Windows System Registry.
• Know how to stop and start Services in the Windows Services application.
• Know how to restart Internet Information Services (IIS) using IIS Manager.
• Know how to run command line tools at a DOS command prompt.
